Annual Picnic Day Chios Association of NSW "AGIA MARKELLA"

The PICNIC at Kurnell was the first of the functions for members and friends of "Agia Markella" in 2011. The annual event gives the opportunity to Chiotes and friends  to get  together, shake hands (για τον Καλό Χρόνο), eat, drink, enjoy and relax in the serene locality of Kurnell.

Popie Finos Farewell Dinner

Chios Association of NSW "AGIA MARKELLA" held a dinner at the SPORTS CLUB BANKS TOWN to honour outgoing secretary Popie Finos who has served the Chian community of NSW for almost 60 years with outstanding distinction and unparalleled commitment . Popie's love and devotion to the Chian community has been remarkable and invaluable from all aspects.
Popie's contribution to the Chians is immense in terms of records, detail and historical facts.
Her kind approach and nature to all people was the catalyst for unity and progress.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
2:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Community Club
Lakemba St, Lakemba
( Members have to endorse or not the MOTION to change the status of the Association)



13-16 November trip to Melbourne.

28 November Annual Function at GOC, $45 per person.
